Our Chess partner Chess At Three is bringing Cocoon a chess class that tells stories that transform chess pieces into a memorable cast of quirky characters that help children understand and play chess. Through stories and exercises, we learn how all of the pieces move and their relationship to one another. They also begin learning about thinking before we move and having a "chess-ready" mind and body, i.e. how to concentrate, take turns, and behave during a game of chess.
